Bass River Tennis Club
2011 Beverly Bootstraps "A Taste of Beverly"

Bass River is proud to have hosted the Beverly Bootstraps Community Services' "Best Chef" Competition on Monday February 7, 2011. Created in the style of television's Iron Chef series, this magical evening featured
dueling chefs from Beverly's finest restaurants, including Hale Street Tavern, The Mandrake, Harry's 240 and Lobsta Land Restaurant. TV Diner's Billy Costa served as Master of Ceremonies for the second year of this
event. Hors d'oeuvres, cash bar and musical entertainment rounded out the evening.

Last year's winner, Brendan Crocker of Brendan Crocker's Wild Horse Café, was on hand this year to judge the competition. To make the competition fun and exciting, 75% of the ingredients used had to come from the Bootstraps food pantry. This year's best Chef was Steven O'Conner from Harry's 240. The bartender "mix off" top honors went to Chianti's for their lemon ginger martini.

Bass River Tennis Club believes strongly in our commitment to the community and we are proud of Bass River's long commitment to the City of Beverly. A great time was had by all. Thanks to everyone who participated. The event was a huge success.
