Ed LeDuc
Ed LeDuc has been with The Bass River Tennis Club since 1974.
Ed continues to provide excellent coaching for individuals
as well as teams, making tennis a positive fun-filled experience
for all who have worked with him each season. Ed has been a
certified U.S.P.T.A. professional since 1975. He runs round
robins both days and evenings from Monday - Thursday. Ed also
runs our Women’s Upper A1 team, Working Women’s
Upper and Lower teams, Women’s A White team, and Men’s
A1 team. In addition, Ed oversees all North Shore League Women’s
and Men’s Team Tennis. We are fortunate to have Ed as
a mainstay of our teaching staff. Email

Henry Tiberio
Henry Tiberio has been certified as a USPTA professional
since 1974. Henry has accumulated 21 N.E. #1 rankings in singles,
10 N.E. #1 rankings in doubles, and 5 national top 10 singles
rankings in his age group. Henry is USTA coordinator for the
Bass River Senior and Super Senior In-House Leagues. He runs
several programs including Men’s Round Robins, Singles
Clinics and Senior Socials.
Henry is available to teach and is always eager to discuss
the aspects of your overall tennis game. Bass River is very
pleased to have Henry and his many years of teaching experience. Email

Ken Ventimiglia
A Rockport native, Ken has been a tennis teaching professional
since 1982. He was a ranked junior player and a top ten Men’s
A player. Ken represented New England at the 1st Olympic qualifier
at Flushing Meadows, New York. He received a full scholarship
after high school to the Nick Bolletteri Tennis Academy in
Bradenton, Florida. Ken received a full tennis scholarship
at Middle Tennessee State University NCAA Division 1, where
he played #1 singles. Ken’s full-time teaching career
began as the Junior Development Director and Summer Camp Director
at the Manchester Athletic Club where he was employed from
1988-1999. He is the Head Pro at the Eastern Yacht club in
the summer. Ken has developed and coached hundreds of juniors.
Some have reached sectional and national rankings. Ken joined
the Bass River teaching staff in 1999 and is USPTA certified & certified
FRA personal trainer. Email

Susan Love
Susan is a USPTA certified teaching pro. She has been teaching
tennis since 1996 beginning at the Hamilton Wenham Recreational
Department. She ran their program that includes junior lessons,
team tennis and adult clinics. She has also been a teaching
pro at the Manchester Athletic Club. Susan was a regionally
ranked junior player and graduated from Providence College
in 1984. Sue is a Program Coordinator for the Bass River Tennis
Club and is overseeing the Queen B’s and Honey B’s
programs. Sue is constantly developing new opportunities for
our members to get on the courts and play tennis. Susan has
been a valued Bass River staff member since September, 2000. Email

Haven Wynne
A Swampscott High School graduate, Haven was a four time
Northeastern Conference tennis MVP. She went on to graduate
with a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from Merrimack
College. In November of 2003, she was featured in Sports Illustrated
as a "Face in the Crowd". Haven was the Director
of Tennis in the Town of Swampscottfrom 1998-2000 and the Town
of Peabodyfrom 2001-2003. From there she went on to Cedardale
Health and Fitness Club in Haverhill. She was also the Merrimack
College assistant men's and women's tennis coach during the
2005 season. Haven was at Wentworth by the Sea Country Club
from 2005-06. We welcomed Haven to Bass River in June 2006.
She is USPTA P-2 certified, a certified in Cardio Tennis! Email

Rares Petritoi
Rares hails from Transylvania, Romania. An academic and athletic
star, Rares was ranked as high as number 6 in his native Romania
and graduated first in his class at Romania’s top University,
Bades Bolyai in Transylvania. Certified to coach soccer, rugby,
swimming, gymnastics and of course, tennis, Rares’ tremendous
background makes him a valuable asset to the Bass River teaching
staff. Currently ranked in the top 5 in New England in the
Men’s Open division, Rares continues to be a highly competitive
player. Rares comes to Bass River for his first season beginning
in the fall of 2007. Email

Kevin Colozzi
A Winchester native, Kevin played first singles for his Winchester
High and University of Rhode Island teams. He captained both
of those teams in his senior seasons. Kevin ran the Winchester
Swim and Tennis Club for four seasons and currently is the
Head Pro at the Belleview Country Club, in Melrose. Kevin comes
to Bass River from Boston Sports Club at Lynnfield and brings
a wealth of teaching and coaching experience. Kevin is a certified
USPTA teaching professional. His duties will include all areas
of men’s, woman’s and junior program instruction
and will be in charge of our new in-house junior varsity team.
We are pleased to have Kevin join our staff in September, 2007. Email

Anthony Russo
Anthony Russo, a certified USPTA tennis professional. He
started in his home state of Rhode Island where he served as
an assistant professional at Warwick Heights and Kirkbrae Country
Club. His more recent teaching experience has been at Westford
Racquet and Fitness and Manchester Athletic Club where he was
the Assistant Director of Junior Programs. For 3 years, Anthony
was Head Tennis Professional at Annisquam Yacht Club during
the summer months. In the summer of 2007 Anthony was at Eastern
Yacht club. As a junior player, Anthony was ranked #1 ranking
in Rhode Island from the ages of 10-16. He went on to Mount
St. Charles Academy and was first singles all four years. Anthony
went to The University of Hartford on full tennis scholarship
and was “all conference” in the American East and
earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. The Bass
River Tennis Club welcomed Anthony to its’ teaching staff
in the fall of 2006. Email

Jeff Goldberg
Jeff is a certified USPTA professional. He is a graduate
of the University of Massachusetts and has always enjoyed playing
sports and mentoring others. Jeff was a tennis instructor for
the Beverly Recreation Department and the Harborlight Montessori
School. He is also the Assistant Coach to the Beverly High
School girl’s tennis team. Jeff has spent time working
for the NASDAQ 100 Tennis Tournament and teaching in Orlando,
Florida. Since 2003, Jeff has been teaching at the Beverly
Golf and Tennis Club and joined the Bass River tennis teaching
staff in the fall of 2005. Email |

Rosalind Brown
A ranked junior in her native England, Ros came to the states
to play at Rice University. She received a Masters Degree in
Sports Management from UMASS Amherst in 1990. Her coaching
experience began in 1982 as assistant coach at Rice University
and then at Amherst College. Ros was head coach at Bowdoin
College, tennis director and coach at Windridge tennis camp,
coached at Longfellow Tennis and Fitness Club and Racquetime
in Danvers and was assistant head pro three summer seasons
at the Eastern Yacht Club and the Beach Club in Swampscott.
Ros worked at the Bass River Tennis Club from 1996-2000 and
the Manchester Athletic Club from 2001-2006. She has worked
with students who have received National and Sectional rankings.
Ros is U.S.P.T.A. certified and has worked with U.S.T.A. We
were pleased to have her return to us in the fall of 2006. Email
